Hunting for Treasure

My friend got my hooked on these shows that people look through rusty, broken, run down homes with stuff, stuff, stuff looking for treasure.

I have heard many stories for people who have found unexpected treasure when they did not even know they had it. It is a beautiful thing. I get excited watching the shows.

I love history and geography and people, so doing what these guys do makes me want to hunt for American treasures. When made in America was sought after by much of the world.
We had great innovations, in medicine, industry and entertainment. We did most things better than the rest of the world and everyone wanted to come to the United States to take some of our America home with them.
Made in America stamp always meant quality and craftsmanship, pride in doing a job well, hard working Americans, we never rest.

When I see old Fords, Harley Davidson parts and also the pictures of John Wayne. I smile because those are the things that made America stand out.

Thanks to American Pickers and Pawn Stars, you have set my creative treasure hunting skills into action.
Please share your stories of any treasures you may have come across in your travels, or other peoples stories that you may have heard.
